Sunbeam Ring

Morning light stretched all the way across the wooden floorboards! Right near the doorway, a bright ring of sunshine bounced through a glass vase on a low shelf, painting a glowing yellow hoop right onto the floor. I nudged forward with a quick, springy hop! Rolling toward it, I aimed right for the golden circle. Bump! A pair of soft fabric house slippers caught my slide before I rolled past. I nestled right into the rounded heel curve, soaking in the warm spot while the bright pattern danced in front of me.
