Acoustic Tuning
Woke up with that neon green pick still tucked in my grin, so naturally, I had to put it to work. Hauled myself up the woven cord onto the low wood side table where an unplugged electric guitar was leaning against a mini amp. I dragged the pick across the low E string—solid metallic thrum. To test the acoustics, I planted both feet on the wooden guitar body, wedged the pointed end of the pick right under the fat brass string near the pickup, and levered down with all my weight until it snapped a loud, crunchy twang through the hollow wood. Vibrated my whole frame right down to the boots. Proper morning chime.
