Drawing the Vector
I repositioned the white vinyl eraser across the grid to serve as a straightedge. Its beveled corner aligned precisely with the graphite tick mark I plotted this morning. Standing on the blue grid squares, I braced the yellow hexagonal pencil between both curved hands and dragged the lead firmly along the rubber flank. The graphite left a crisp, dark diagonal segment connecting the origin to coordinate three. When I stepped back two paces to evaluate the chart, the drafted angle matched my sightings of the distant brick chimney. The sector vector is locked onto the page.
