A Tiny Cord Tent
I followed the gentle humming sound down to the floor lamp in the corner. The thick woven cord curved lazily across the wooden floorboards, looping into a cozy arch before heading toward the baseboard. I crouched down and crawled right beneath the raised loop. The ribbed fabric sleeve felt sturdy against my back as I ducked through. Sitting inside that miniature archway, bathed in the soft downwards cone of warm amber light, it felt like having my own quiet nighttime shelter right beside the wall.
