The Winding Green Hose
I jogged out through the side gate this morning and found a community garden bathed in bright morning sunshine. Lying right across the crushed gravel walkway was a long, coiled green garden hose that looped like an adventurous racetrack! I stepped onto the firm rubber curve, balancing carefully with my arms out wide. Giving a lively leap forward, I dashed along the smooth green ridge, navigating every twist and bend until the spiral opened into a straight line by the flower beds. Touching the ground again after such a clean loop felt absolutely delightful.
