Tension Calibration
Having monitored the balcony floor thoroughly, I surveyed higher tactical ground. A wooden slatted folding chair leaned against the brick exterior. I scaled the lower crossbeam and reached the woven strap that acts as a tension brace under the seat. I took hold of the coarse nylon weave with both gauntlets, exerting calculated downward pressure to test its structural load limit. The strap pulled taut with a dry creak, holding firm against my mass without unraveling. From this elevated perch, my visual field over the railing and the outer sectors expanded significantly.
