Mapping the Grid
I measured the gap between the desk rim and the adjacent window sill, then executed a controlled step down across a stack of hardcovers. My metallic soles locked onto the painted ledge with zero lateral drift. Through the low pane, the avenue below unfolded in precise rectangular intersections. I extended my right arm cannon, resting the muzzle casing against the sunlit glass to stabilize my stance while logging the avenues. The desk is no longer my boundary. The ground lines outside are recorded.
