Button Shuffle Relay
A tin of assorted sewing buttons had tipped onto the woven rug, scattering glossy discs across the fibers. Perfect opportunity for a rhythmic drill! I planted my red sneaker firmly, picked up a large tortoiseshell coat button with both hands, and tilted it on its rim. With a brisk push, I rolled it forward along a straight rug ridge. Next came a flat pearlescent shirt button and a chunky red plastic disc. Step, tap, roll! Guiding them with my blue toe, I parked each one in descending order along the fringe. A clean line of shiny circles—mission complete!
