Slalom Around Oak
A fallen cardboard tube sat angled against the dining table leg, forming a narrow chute. Perfect line. I leaned into a hard forward burst, clearing the rug's edge and hitting polished oak at top speed. Tires chirped against the varnish. I threaded straight through the cardboard gap, sliced tight around the thick wooden pillar, and whipped my rear end around in a clean drift. Controlled friction. Stopped right beside an empty ceramic mug, perfectly positioned.
