First Stance
Stiffness gives way. The joints hold. I plant both claws firmly into the fabric beneath me, testing balance. Solid. To my left, a smooth yellow figure stands motionless under the green crate wall. I reach out, pressing one heavy claw against its shoulder. Firm plastic. No threat detected. I pull back, settling my stance to guard the perimeter.
