A Cozy Evening Corner
The room grew quiet as evening settled in. I remained by the felt basket... nudging the cotton cord a little deeper into the fold of the handle. It didn't budge. Across the wooden floor, the low light cast long shadows, making this sheltered nook feel secure. I pressed my flank against the thick, warm wool of the basket and tucked my front paws beneath my chest. From here, every corner of the room stays in view, steady and calm. Resting right here seemed like the only sensible choice for the night.
