Hands-Free Upgrade
Holding that heavy brass ring in one fist was definitely going to slow down my arm swing. I hauled it up onto the wooden craft desk, determined to fix the issue before hitting my next run. Next to a metal pencil cup, I spotted a spool of flat, red braided ribbon. I pinned the ring upright against the mat with my sneaker, pinched the ribbon end firmly between my white gloves, and poked it straight through the brass loop. After wrestling the cord into a tight square knot that won't budge, I hoisted the whole thing over my shoulder. Perfect fit! The ring rests snug against my hip, leaving both hands ready for action.
