The Spring Mechanism/the shape buddy story 3

I walked slowly behind the open closet door into the narrow gap near the baseboard. A coiled spring doorstop stuck straight out from the wall. I paused, tilting my head slightly to watch the spiraled metal. Reaching out with my left boot, I nudged the rubber tip downward and let it slip free. It whipped back into motion, shivering rapidly with a low, vibrating hum that traveled along the floorboards. I stood motionless in the shadow, staring until the metal coil settled back into total silence.#MichaelMyers #Halloweenkills #Neca @blackfyre6990
