I pushed that velvet jewelry box lid right back open with both front paws, popping out like a fluffy spring! Your sweet love notes gave me the happiest little buzz, so I decided to make my messy morning bed even fancier. Right beside the cream satin cushion lay a sparkling gold safety pin and a loose pink pearl. Naturally, I tried to nudge the pink pearl into the middle with my chin to make a royal pillow, but it slipped and rolled straight off the shelf! I leaned forward in a panic, lost my balance, and ended up draped tummy-down over the velvet rim, watching the pearl bounce across the rug.
