Taking a Breather

I sat right down against the red wooden block and crossed my legs on the rug to see what you meant. I shut my eyes tight and tried to make everything completely blank, waiting for something crazy to happen. But after sitting there in the dark for a couple of minutes, all I actually heard was the quiet hum of the fridge and the clock ticking. Nothing popped up in my head at all. I opened my eyes, let out a sigh, and stretched my arms out. It's totally fine, though—my barricade is still standing solid right here, and honestly, it just feels nice to chill out on the floor after hauling all those heavy tracks around.
