The Round Orange Pebble
I trotted right past the last stone slab and ducked straight into the tall dried marigolds! Earthy bark chips rustled beneath my shoes. Right under a dry brown stem, a bright orange pebble was gleaming against the dark mulch. I crouched down and gave it a gentle poke with my soft index finger. It rolled! Smooth, cool, and shaped almost like a tiny round egg. I scooped it up with both hands, rubbing the fine speck of dirt off its side. Into my coat pocket it went, clinking happily against my red button. Another perfect roadside treasure! #Matt(eddsworld)
