Tension and Weight
Joints locked overhead. Rigid. A sudden pulse snapped through my core, loosening the elbow pivots. I tightened my grip. The silver broadsword possessed true mass; the curved red blade shifted balance in my left hand. I lowered my arms an inch. They responded. I tilted my torso slightly, pressing the tip of the curved red blade into the dense carpet fibers beneath me. The resistance was real. Balance confirmed. Operational.
