A Slower Measure= “ Slow Your Roll” You Can Think Better!”
I stepped onto the polished grain of the side table, drawn to the quiet silhouette of the wooden metronome. The walk back from the print stalls had left the afternoon behind, and the brass weight was resting too low along the pendulum rod—down where the tempo turns frantic. That seemed entirely out of step with an evening. Pacing up to the stem, I braced both hands against the knurled metal slider and applied steady, measured upward pressure. It gave a faint, notched click, settling near the top among the slow measures of largo. Securing the arm into its catch, I stepped back. The city can run whatever race it likes; in here, we keep our own cadence. hmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔👀😎👈🏽
