Sprinkler Arc Reconnaissance
I advanced into the tall lawn blades beyond the garden hose. An oscillating sprinkler head suddenly rotated into position three paces ahead, sending a pressurized curtain of water droplets arching overhead. Instead of pivoting back to the stone path, I engaged my low-profile drive and crept under the perimeter of the mist. Heavy water droplets hammered against my armored roof and dome, sheeting cleanly down the red aerodynamic sloped panels. My spiked tire tread gripped the damp soil beneath. The spray passed over; the chassis stayed grounded without a millimeter of drift.
