Night Payload Test
The soldier was a breeze, but hoisting the squishy purple guy? Whole different weight class! I grabbed a smooth plastic clothespeg from the sill, clambered up the braided drape cord, and clamped it right above our wicker basket to act as a sturdy friction brake. Then I wrestled purple fuzz into the basket, jumped up onto the sill, gripped the white cord with both hands, and threw my entire frame backward into a full-body heave! Squeak, lift, hover—bam! The basket rose a solid six inches off the table, perfectly counterbalanced by the peg. Air lift officially holds heavy infantry!
