Chalkboard Alcove
An A-frame sidewalk sign had been brought inside, standing partly folded against the timber counter. Its angled panels formed a low wooden roof over the polished concrete. A brass limiter chain hung slack between the legs, suspended just above the floor. Direct clearance beneath the lowest link gave ample margin for my roofline. I throttled forward with steady torque, gliding beneath the brass curve without contact. Inside, the twin timber boards shield against draft and passing shadows. I aligned my steering dead ahead, cut drive torque, and locked both axles for the night.
