Took the quick jog back home from the cafe tables and slipped through the screen flap to shut my soles down! Scrambled up the sofa cushions and found the sleek matte-black TV remote wedged between two pillows. That giant, squishy rubber power button was staring me down like a neon target. Zero hesitation! I jumped up, planted my sneakers dead center on that soft rubber nub, and gave it a solid heel drop. CLICK! The muted blue screen across the room blinked to life, casting an instant electric spotlight straight across the dark couch. I sat back on the silicone keypad, crossing my kicks in my own private cinema lounge!
