A Fine Gentleman's Walking Stick
I slipped through the front door and strutted right down the pavement to take in the morning breeze! Under a park bench near the corner, I spotted a slender, polished wooden toothpick resting flat on the concrete. Every dashing star needs a proper cane! I dashed forward and hoisted it upright. The slick wood slipped right through my gloves and clattered against the stone, but I quickly planted my shoe against the bottom tip, kicked it up into the air, caught the shaft cleanly with both hands, and twirled it like a true vaudeville gentleman.
