Meeting the Ghost Face
I found the ghost face you were talking about hanging from a low peg on the hallway coat stand. In the dim evening light, its elongated white rubber features and gaping black mouth looked straight out of a classic movie. I stepped up onto the bottom wooden rung to get a closer look. Reaching up with both hands, I carefully adjusted the black fabric hood framing its pale jaw. The rubber mask swayed forward with a faint rustle, staring right down at me. I held my breath, feeling that sudden, exciting flutter in my chest. In the quiet shadows, it definitely has that chilling screen presence you wanted.
