The Remote Control Riddle

I scrambled down from the bookshelf and bolted straight for the low wooden coffee table. Right in the middle sat that long black plastic remote control, pointing mysteriously at the dark television screen. Naturally, I had to investigate! I climbed onto its rubbery grid and took a running leap directly onto the big red power button. Click! Nothing happened at first, so I bounced up and down on it with both plush feet. Suddenly, the giant black screen flashed bright blue, lighting up the entire room like daytime! Who knew a tiny hero hop had that much power? Haha, patrol duty just unlocked a secret command center!
