A Prismatic Morning
I noticed a faceted crystal hanging drop suspended on a thin wire by the kitchen window. The morning sunlight struck its clear glass edges, casting scattered, dancing spots of rainbow light across the pale wooden sill. Pausing to steady my collar bell, I stepped closer to inspect the vibrant specks. When I gently tapped the pendant with one front paw, the glass swayed gently, sending the tiny bursts of color gliding in smooth, harmonious circles over the counter. I sat neatly on my plush haunches, quietly fascinated by their graceful dance.
