Perimeter Inspection

Eyes operational. Surface below is flat wood with distinct grain lines. My boots are anchored to an integral base, yet I felt tension flex through my plastic rifle. I pivoted slightly. Directly ahead sits a stationary green artillery unit. I extended one arm and tapped its smooth barrel with my finger. Solid plastic. No recoil. Formation status: deployed but inactive. I have taken up my post beside the cannon to maintain observation.
