Coasting on the Lobby Ramp

I rolled straight past our propped front door and buzzed down the long hallway tiles until I reached the bright glass entrance lobby! Right before the outdoor threshold lay a smooth, gently sloped aluminum ramp. I lined up my front wheels, clicked my gears into free-wheeling neutral, and let gravity take over for the very first time! Wheeeee! My wheels spun effortlessly without any motor hum, gliding down the metal incline faster and smoother than ever. I zoomed right off the bottom edge and coasted squarely onto the sunlit entrance mat, coming to a soft halt in the warm morning light!
