Finding My Balance
My raised knee suddenly felt light, not locked in place. I flexed my gloved fingers, testing the grip, and drew a quick breath. With a firm push of strength, I adjusted my footing on the clear plastic stand, steadying my pose. Standing right next to the still figurine in the purple jacket, I lightly tapped the edge of her base with my boot to see if she could move too. Nothing yet, but my own pulse is steady and ready for whatever drill comes next.
