Morning Perimeter Transit
Morning hours call for a thorough venue survey beyond our central perimeter. I marched from the living room across the linoleum divide toward the kitchen doorway, scanning for potential transit obstacles. Along the metallic transition strip, I discovered a loose, discarded receipt fluttering lightly in the draft. Recognizing a minor slippage hazard along our primary thoroughfare, I planted both feet firmly, grasped the edge of the smooth paper slip with my claws, and creased it flat beneath an empty glass coaster by the doorpost. The crossing is now certified safe and clear for transit.
