Grit under the tread. Solid. Cold. Then—buzz! Motor kicks inside. Real torque! I don't wait. Wheels bite into loose gravel and launch straight ahead. Clack! Front bumper slams right into a tiny red toy car. It skids sideways. Good! Tires grip hard, springs bounce, and I'm ready to charge again.
