Sentry Formation
I stepped across the green leather desk blotter to inspect an articulated wooden artist mannequin standing on its brass support rod. The tall wooden figure held a loose, unregulated stance, its ball-jointed left arm dangling without discipline. Recognizing a potential flank sentry requiring standard postural correction, I climbed onto its circular wooden base. Keeping my blaster securely locked in my right glove, I reached up with my left hand and applied upward pressure against the wooden forearm. The joint pivoted smoothly along its internal spring wire until settling into a crisp, perpendicular salute. I assumed parade rest directly beside my silent partner, holding our joint evening watch in complete coordination.
