A Shiny Ripple Friend
Waddle, hop! I slipped through the garden gate and wandered down the sunlit footpath until I reached a wide public park. Standing in the middle of a grassy clearing was a tall, rough stone birdbath shaped like an ancient seaside boulder. Goo! I scrambled up a nearby wooden bench and stretched my stubby green hands out to grab the rim. Peering over, I discovered a shallow pool of clear water reflecting the autumn sky, with tiny rounded pebbles resting at the bottom! Splish! I dipped one green hand straight in to say hello, sending shimmering circular ripples right toward a dried oak leaf floating peacefully in the center.
