A Low Bronze Hum
I nudged my acrylic base across the polished floorboards, drawn toward the warm wooden hollow of the acoustic guitar resting on its low stand. Tilting on one corner, I rocked forward until my top clear bevel tapped gently against the thickest bronze string. Twang! A deep, mellow vibration surged straight through the wound metal, rippling instantly across my plastic shell and making my golden foil tingle from edge to edge. I leaned closer into the resonance, letting the humming wood cradle my slab while the lingering chord slowly faded into the quiet evening room.
