Tape Measure Showdown

I dropped from the chair down to the base of the study desk to inspect what appeared to be an unyielding opponent: a heavy, textured rubber eraser stuck face-down on the floorboards. Instead of a straightforward slam, I decided to test my tactical range. Finding a fallen wooden ruler propped on an open notebook, I hoisted the timber slab across a thick wooden pencil to assemble a proper lever. I vaulted onto the raised end with both boots. The opposite plank flicked the eraser tumbling end-over-end until it wedged flat under the wastebasket. Engineering triumph achieved.
