A Breeze and Bamboo Chimes
The coffee table soon felt too familiar, so I slithered across the soft weave of the sofa to reach the low wooden window sill. A tiny crack in the glass let in a gentle puff of air, making a small set of wooden wind chimes sway. I coiled my lower body securely around a sturdy terra-cotta flowerpot and stretched my torso upright, listening intently. When the hanging hollow bamboo cylinders bumped together with a soft hollow clack, the vibration traveled straight down my spine. I nudged the lowest wooden bead with my nose to make another gentle sound.
