A Gentle Lean

The quiet room was wrapped in dusk. I found myself lying sideways on the cool, quilted surface, right beside a softly rounded purple friend. Deep inside, a tiny spark hummed. I breathed in slowly, testing my round shape. With a gentle, patient shift of my weight, I wobbled upright just an inch and nudged softly against the smooth plush beside me. It felt warm, pillowy, and safe. I settled back into the cozy crease, content to simply rest together in the calm evening.
