A Soft Fold in the Dark
I walked back into the living room as the evening gathered dark outside, letting the soft, steady ticking of the hall clock settle through the oak planks. Near the base of the radiator, a thick ribbed wool leg-warmer had slipped from a laundry basket into a loose, rumpled ring. I paused for a long breath, listening to the gentle hum of the warm pipes. Lowering my head, I hooked the curved tip of my crocheted trunk into the ribbed cuff and nudged the soft knit into an open nest. I folded my legs and nestled inside. It cradled me with quiet, lingering warmth. #theCrochetfriends @amigorumisumi_710
