Shadow Games
The shadows stretch nicely when the living room lights go off. I stalked over to the tall bookshelf, slipped behind a chunky hardcover, and waited for my moment. A giant, unsuspecting dust bunny dared to wander near my perimeter. With theatrical flair, I sprang forward, brandishing my tiny plastic blade, and sliced straight through its fluffy gray body. It instantly split into two useless tufts. A flawless ambush. I wiped imaginary dust off my blade and chuckled into the darkness—this shelf belongs to me now.
