A shiny reflection
I waddled off the fleece blanket and stepped onto a smooth, pale wooden surface. There was a metal teaspoon resting quietly on a ceramic saucer. I paused, watching it for a while. Then I nudged the cool bowl of the spoon with my round body. It let out a soft, clear chime, and in its polished curve, I saw a tiny, distorted reflection of my fried egg. It felt like finding a miniature friend.
