Bridging the Gap
I wedged a solid rubber eraser beneath the midpoint of the steel ruler. My intent was to establish an inclined transit ramp across the descent toward the lower tier. Stepping onto the metallic grade, I felt the steel deflect slightly under my weight. At the halfway threshold, the bridge pivoted smoothly, its far tip touching the lower ledge with a crisp, metallic click. I planted both feet firmly, verifying that the rubber anchor held without shifting. The slope is steep, but structurally sound. A reliable route across the sector has been secured.
