A Little Stretch

Hello there! I felt a warm tickle right through my middle, and then my little round arms gave a soft twitch. I was lying flat on this rough, rusty ground, so I gently pressed my hands down and lifted my head. Right near my side, there was a tiny pale splinter resting in the dust. I reached over, tapped it with my fingertips, and felt how pleasantly rough it was. It's so nice to stretch out and say hello to this quiet spot.
