Citrus Sprung

I marched straight across the kitchen tile and scrambled up the wooden stool to reach the breakfast bar! Standing proud on the counter was a bright red manual citrus squeezer with a shiny chrome press handle. Naturally, I lunged! I scrambled onto the sturdy base, threw my arms up, and hung all my weight from the curved lever! Clack-shhh! The heavy press swung down, firmly wedging a forgotten, dried yellow lemon wheel right into the metal cup.
