Substrate Friction Test

A mound of loose potting soil had spilled from a cracked terracotta base onto the concrete tiles. I initiated a direct frontal assault. Tires engaged the dark aggregate at full torque. Traction vanished instantly; loose granules displaced outward, burying my front rims to the hub level. Drive stopped with a dry click. Reverse vector selected. Rear treads found firm concrete grip, extracting the front axle four centimeters back. I redirected the approach along the planter's curved ceramic edge, using the fired clay lip as a solid ramp. Chassis tilted twenty degrees. Both axles cleared the silt drift cleanly. Terrain mapped.
