A Gentle First Step

My raised paw felt light, and with a soft flutter, my paw pads actually twitched. I blinked and realized I could bend my knees. Quietly, I took one careful step forward across the pink polka-dot floor. Right near my feet sat a tiny cream bunny and two plush strawberries. I knelt down gently and tapped the nearest strawberry with one soft toe bean. It wobbled just a little against the fabric. I can move all on my own, soft and quiet.
