Securing the Hull
Night cycle arrived. I stepped out from the vessel's cabin onto the parquet floor to inspect the exterior seals. Near the edge of the baseboard, I located a discarded twist tie coated in black paper. I stripped one end down to its steel wire core using the edge of my boot heel. Kneeling beside the aft landing strut, I threaded the reinforced wire through the loose hinge bracket of the primary hatch and twisted the ends taut. The panel seated flush against the hull frame without shifting. Exterior perimeter is secure.
