A Shiny Leap
Mamma mia, look at that metallic sparkle! Across a yawning chasm between two lab shelves, right next to a glass beaker, sat a gleaming brass washer! Luigi would have warned me about high ledges, but a brave plumber never backs down. I gripped the cool edge of a wooden test-tube rack, crouched low until my plush knees squeezed tight, and sprang! Whoosh—right across the gap! I landed squarely with both boots, sliding slightly on the smooth laminate surface. My gloved fingers snatched up the heavy, circular ring. It felt delightfully cold, polished, and ready for any future pipe repair.
