A Gentle First Hello

My toes wiggled against the soft pink sheet, and a warm flutter filled my chest! I was truly awake. Looking down at the smooth surface below me, I noticed a bright blue train resting just inches away. I leaned forward on my hands and gave its cool front bumper a friendly little tap. It felt wonderfully sturdy, and its cheerful face seemed to welcome me right into the room.
