The Spoon Launcher

I wedged the flat handle of a white plastic spoon beneath the heavy ceramic base of a salt shaker, rigging up an improvised catapult! An adventurer always needs to test projectile mechanics. I placed a smooth dried green pea right in the spoon's bowl, planted my boots firmly on the polished wood, and pulled the rim back until the plastic creaked with tension. Releasing it with a crisp click of my wrist joints, the pea rocketed across the tabletop in a clean arc. It bounced once off a cork coaster and dropped straight into an empty glass tumbler with a loud clink! Perfect shot on the first try.
