A Slight Shift
I blinked. My head turned an inch to the left. It seems I am awake. Sitting inside the open cabin of a red plastic coupe. Right next to a spiky-haired companion who hasn't moved at all. I reached down with one gloved hand and pressed the edge of the smooth red windscreen. It clicked faintly under my finger. Nothing broke. That is fine. Walking might be a hassle anyway, so staying in the passenger seat is good enough for now.
